Laying the Foundation
The foundations of Nakkaş Holding were laid with the vision of contributing to Türkiye’s economic development and becoming a strong player in global markets. Our company’s story has been shaped by decades of experience and success across various sectors.
First Steps
The first steps of Nakkaş Holding’s journey—now spanning five sectors and three continents—began with Öztreyler, a trailer manufacturing company established in 1983, and Öz-Gür Çay, a tea production company founded in 1988 in Güneysu, Rize. Over the years, Öz-Gür Çay expanded its production capacity and grew into a prominent tea producer and importer known for its high-quality output.
A Path of Growth
In 2015, Nakkaş Holding established Transpet to manage the international logistics and trade of petroleum and refined products—highly strategic commodities. As the only company with an exclusive license to carry out transit trade of these products between Türkiye and northern Iraq by road, Transpet played a key role in integrating these resources into global markets and became a pioneer in Nakkaş Holding’s growth journey.
The Largest Storage Facility in the Mediterranean
With over 40 years of industry experience and a strategic location in the Gulf of İskenderun, Global Terminal Hizmetleri (GTS) joined our group companies in 2022. Operating under the GTS brand, it features a total fuel storage capacity of 721,600 m³ and has become a major player in the Mediterranean basin.
Establishment of Nakkaş Holding
In 2023, Nakkaş Holding A.Ş. was officially established to unite the rapidly expanding operations and diversified activities under a single structure. Formed from the collective experience and expertise of several long-standing, sector-leading companies, the holding was designed to sustain and further drive this growth.
Majority Shareholding in Türk Ytong
Nakkaş Holding became the majority shareholder of Türk Ytong, Türkiye’s first autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) manufacturer and a leader in innovative building materials. This strategic acquisition marked another milestone in our continued, stable growth.
Alpet Joins Nakkaş Holding Group
As part of its growth and diversification strategy in the energy sector, Nakkaş Holding has acquired Alpet, one of Türkiye’s leading fuel distribution brands. This strategic acquisition brings together Global Terminal’s storage capabilities, GGG Petrolleri’s retail expertise, and Alpet’s strong brand value to create an integrated energy structure. The transaction marks a significant milestone in strengthening Nakkaş Holding’s position in the energy sector and advancing its long-term sustainable growth vision.
HES Kablo Joins Nakkaş Holding
In line with its long-term investment vision, Nakkaş Holding has acquired HES Kablo, one of Türkiye’s established leaders in the cable industry. With a strong manufacturing heritage dating back to 1974, HES Kablo enhances the Group’s integrated structure across energy, infrastructure, and building materials. This strategic acquisition represents a key milestone in Nakkaş Holding’s sustainable growth strategy and its focus on creating cross-sector value.
